I am calling because I am deeply disturbed to hear that Kevan Thakrar has been transferred to the segregation unit of HMP Whitemoor based on unfounded allegations that are islamophobic in nature.

Kevan has no toilet seat, and no furniture in his cell. He has none of his property and therefore nothing to distract him from being totally isolated.

What will you do to ensure he is transferred immediately out of a “high control” cell as this is entirely inappropriate for him. What will you do to ensure his unlock level is reduced?

Kevan must be located somewhere where he is able to associate with other prisoners. Denying him the opportunity to do so is a violation of his article 3 human rights. You must address this urgently.

Kevan is especially isolated right now and has little to do. please consider writing him a letter (or an email via emailaprisoner.com) or sending him photographs (you can use free-prints). colourful photographs counter the sensory deprivation he is subject to.
